British singer Adele has swept away the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in the James Bond movie "Skyfall."

Adele, had given birth to a baby boy in October, has not yet revealed the child's name.

When her name was announced as the winner, Adele shared her happiness with James Bond star, Daniel Craig and singer Robbie Williams' wife, Ayda Field.

She started with "Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God," in her Cockney accent and added, "Honestly, I came out for a night out with my friend Ayda. We're new mums. I was not expecting this, thank you so much. It's very strange to be here. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night."

"We've been p***ing ourselves laughing at all of this."

"This is for my boyfriend (Simon Konecki) who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son."

She has not yet revealed the name of the baby saying, "I'm not ready, it's too personal and intimate. I'm enjoying him on my own at the moment."

Taylor Swift who was also nominated for the same category looked unimpressed, she was nominated for her track in "The Hunger Games."

She is also nominated for this year's Academy Awards in the same category for the "Skyfall" theme song.
