The New York Mets take the field against the St. Louis Cardinals in Week 15 of the regular season on Friday, July 17 at 8:15 p.m. EST at Busch Stadium in Missouri. Cardinals (1): "The All-Star break couldn't come soon enough for the Cardinals, who concluded a sub-.500 road trip by losing three straight to the Pirates. St. Louis hopes to heal over the break and return its A team to the lineup." Matt Philip, Fungoes 

St. Louis now holds an impressive 56-33 winning record and remains 1st in the National League Central Division.

Mets (12): "The Mets won four straight games (and seven of nine) and three straight series heading into the All-Star break; their 47 wins at the break are the most since 2010, when they had 48." Joe Janish, Mets Today 

With that, New York snags 47 wins and 42 losses and is now 2nd in the National League Eastern Division.

The evening ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channels SNY and FSMW.
