Presidential candidate Donald Trump has started up yet another storm, this time taking on United States veteran, and former presidential runner, John McCain during an interview in Ames. Iowa. According to new reports, the former Celebrity Apprentice host appears to question whether or not McCain is actually a war hero.
Trump recently spoke about McCain, his capture long ago in particular, saying, "He is not a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."
While only some Republicans have come out against Trump's comments in the past – specifically those racist remarks about Mexican immigrants – it now appears that after attacking McCain, several have now publicly scolded the once-upon-a-time NBC star.
Rick Perry noted that Trump owes not only John McCain an apology, but also "every American veteran."
Senator Lindsey Graham claimed, "Here's what I think they're going to say: 'Donald Trump, you're fired,'" speaking about the American people.
Graham further noted that if there's anyone who is seriously considering running for the President of the United States seat, they certainly should not be disrespectful of anyone who was a prisoner of war.
I am not a fan of John McCain because he has done so little for our Veterans and he should know better than anybody what...

After Trump's comments during his interview, he tried to soften what he said later on:
Though, while he seemed to try and lessen the impact of his comments, Trump doesn't appear to be backing down:
John McCain called thousands of people "crazies" when they came to seek help on illegal immigration last week in Phoenix. He owes apology!

The Veterans Administration is in shambles and our veterans are suffering greatly. John McCain has done nothing to help them but talk. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 19, 2015© 2024 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
