Robert Pattinson Celebrates at Golden Globes Open Bar with British Pal Eddie Redmayne, Sans 'Twilight' Sweetheart Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson showed up to the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 13 sans his brooding vampire alter-ego Edward Cullen and "Twilight" sweetheart Kristen Stewart. But just because the 26-year-old "Cosmopolis" heartthrob walked the prestigious Red Carpet solo doesn't mean he didn't have a good time! Once inside the event, Pattinson ran into fellow British actor and longtime pal Eddie Redmayne. The two even happened to be sitting together at the same table... the perfect excuse for two bros to get their buzz on at the open bar before the start of the ceremony! But no worries, R-Patz and K-Stew fans... the 22-year-old "Snow White and the Huntsman" starlet was totally left out of the picture. Reports confirm that the duo met up at a private Golden Globes after-party following the event.

Although Pattinson looked tired of answering a bunch of questions related to his work with the "Twilight" film franchise, the British heartthrob appeared thrilled with the honor of presenting "Best Screenplay" alongside "Les Mis" actress Amanda Seyfried (awarded to Quentin Tarantino for "Django Unchained"). But before the awards ceremony even began, Pattinson was ready to kickoff the evening by downing a few drinks with another "Les Miserables" star... 31-year-old Eddie Redmayne.

According to a report by the LA Times, Redmayne sauntered up to Pattinson before everyone was seated and excitedly exclaimed that they were assigned the same table. Pattinson's quick response - "Let's go find the bar, now." The two longtime buddies then enjoyed some beverages at the open bar before the lights dimmed for the ceremony to begin.

Social media went abuzz when Pattinson showed up to the event without girlfriend Kristen Stewart linked on his arm. Although the two rekindled their romance following K-Stew's highly-publicized infidelity with director Rupert Sanders over the summer, recent rumors suggest that the "Twilight" couple is on the verge of breaking up yet again.
