Amy Schumer might be riding high on a wave of successes lately, including her new big screen flick, Trainwreck, but the star is admitting that the title of the film might just be poking fun at some moments from her past. The Comedy Central funny girl is opening up about her newest endeavor and about how some of her past mistakes have definitely played out in her material. One incident that Schumer didn't address in her new film was her past arrest for grand larceny. That's right, this blond bombshell has a rap sheet.

According to Radar Online, the comedienne was arrested, along with her sister, for a grand larceny stunt that they used to pull when they were younger. The sisters would head to the department stores, steal clothes, and then return them for cash.

"It was just all from, like, department stores," Schumer explained in an interview with Rolling Stone. "I guess the impressive part was that I would return it for cash, and the most that I'd ever made was probably around $1,000. But I did it a lot."

It might have been a pretty genius idea for Schumer ... that is, until she got caught.

However, she explained that it was her family connection to New York Senator, Charles Schumer, which ended up getting her off the hook for the incident.

"[The cops] were like, 'You're lucky you have this last name.' And they pleaded it down, to like disturbing the peace or something."
