'DWTS' Spoilers: Caitlyn Jenner Bails on Season 21, 'I Am Cait' Star Not Ready

Caitlyn Jenner might have secured her own reality show deal but it looks like there was another project in the works that the former Keeping Up with the Kardashian starlet has passed on. While it was being speculated that Caitlyn would be making her debut as a woman on ABC dancing competition Dancing With the Stars, it looks like the star has backed out of the season 21 cast. Jenner was excited to be a part of the long running series, but it's being revealed that when it came time to signing on the dotted line that Jenner felt incompetent. That's right, the former Olympic athlete felt that her skills weren't up to par for the competition.

According to Radar Online, the starlet has decided to bow out gracefully, saying that it was her lack of dancing abilities that ultimately led to the decision.

"At first, Caitlyn was so excited about it and nearly signed up straight away, but after careful thought and even trying out a few moves, she's realized she was in over her head," an insider explained to the news site.

Hollywood Life previously reported that ABC was losing faith on getting Caitlyn into the competition.

"The offer was made, but scheduling, money and a few other bumps in the road are making producers feel that they should give up on their chase," the source reported.

Radar also posted that the reasoning behind Caitlyn bailing is because she "doesn't want to be a laughing stock."

While it's a bummer that Caitlyn won't be sashaying around the ballroom, fans can still see her in I Am Cait, which premieres this summer.
