Kristen Stewart Heartbreak Ignored: Robert Pattinson's Mom Supports FKA Twigs 'Pub' Wedding

Robert Pattinson's family never strongly approved of his former "Twilight" romance with Kristen Stewart. But now that the 29-year-old British heartthob is engaged to English songstress FKA Twigs, his mother Clare Pattinson couldn't be happier!

Earlier this month, "The Rover" actor escorted his mom to Twigs' stellar performance at the Manchester International Festival (Friday, July 17). The family supported Twigs during her first set, and according to the Daily Mail:

The "Two Weeks" singer premiered some special work made during a residency at the festival during four intimate, live performances at the city's Old Granada Studios.

Obviously, R-Patz's loved ones definitely encourage this blossoming relationship over the highly-publicized Robsten romance:

"They think she's great for him, and are happy that it wasn't Kristen in the end because they didn't have the same feeling for her they have for Twigs," an alleged source one explained to the popular UK gossip webloid. "It's no secret that Robert's sisters Lizzy and Victoria found it especially difficult to communicate with Kristen and build a relationship with her. However, Twigs is far more open and easy to get on with."

The Pattinsons are so overjoyed, they'll even allow Twigs to plan her own "unique" wedding ceremony.

Another supposed insider tells People magazine:

While Pattinson's parents, Richard and Clare Pattinson, "would really like a church wedding," Twigs "wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding."

Apparently, the happy couple hopes to officially tie the knot sometime this summer. Will K-Stew receive an invite? Probably not - but Twitter fans are still excited!
