Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Love Triangle: Chris Young Tweets He's Not Involved

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton shocked the world earlier this week when they announced they had decided to end their four-year marriage. The Voice coach and his country singer wife were tabloid magnets for the better part of their marriage, as baby and divorce rumors, as well as cheating scandals, were often the main covers of magazines found at the checkout lines of grocery stores. The duo, who has been the closest thing to country royalty since Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, seemed like they were destined to live out their days together, but it just wasn't in the cards for the couple. There were even reports circling that questioned whether Miranda had stepped out on Blake with fellow country singer and pal Chris Young.

According to Radar Online, a photo of Chris and Miranda was snapped earlier this year when they headed to Losers Bar in Nashville, and it stirred up rumors that the two were actually an item.

However, despite the reports from Radar, TMZ is reporting that sources revealed to them that Chris was not the reason that Miranda and Blake couldn't make it work, but that it was another guy who came into the picture.

"Our sources say Chris was NOT the catalyst for the divorce, it was another guy, who is not a country singer," the site explained.

Chris also took to his Twitter to further dismiss the rumors.

"I don't normally address gossip but in this case I will," the star wrote. "My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda's divorce. That is totally FALSE. They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up. Love you guys- CY."
