The July 22, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT wiil occur during a transitional time for the developmental brand. Several of the female stars, including NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks, have been called up to the main roster. Former NXT Champion Kevin Owens is also performing on Monday Night Raw.
The show will air on the WWE Network, but if you can't watch there, then you can try here or here, both of which broadcast free live streams of the show (this may require downloading a torrent).
New NXT Champion Finn Balor will make his first appearance as champion on the yellow brand tonight to address the fans. He already has a rematch set with Owens for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, which will be the brand's largest show to date in front of 10,000 or so fans at the Barclays Center on the night before SummerSlam. Owens, understandably, is losing his mind. He was undefeated in WWE for several months before a string of losses to Balor and John Cena. How will he try to get into the champ's head tonight?
And what becomes of the women now? We know Eva Marie will make he in-ring debut tonight after she has spent months training with The Brian Kendrick. Bayley still has an injured arm, but she also has beef with Emma and Dana Brooke. Sasha is still the champion, so until someone takes the belt off her, we're considering her an integral part of the NXT roster.
And what about the veterans like Samoa Joe and Rhyno? What about the young stars like Tyler Breeze and Baron Corbin? There are so many unanswered questions.
Whom do you think will step up for NXT after this crop of stars hit the main roster? Will they deliver a solid episode tonight? Let us know in the comments section. And as always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action.
