Baseball's back for the official 2015 MLB season!
The Philadelphia Phillies take the field against the Chicago Cubs in Week 16 of the regular season on Friday, July 24 at 4:05 p.m. EST at beloved Wrigley Field in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday afternoon ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
While the Cubs maintain a rather high spot in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 professional teams (power rankings), Philly still lags way behind:
Phillies (30): "The Phillies swept the Marlins for just their second three-game winning streak of the season (they won six in a row back in May)." David Schoenfield, SweetSpot
Philadelphia now maintain a meager 34-63 winning record and remain 5th in the National League Eastern Division.
Cubs (10): "It's important for the Cubs to get off to a good start out of the break as the first 17 games they play are against teams with a record below .500. They have one of the softest second-half schedules that includes seven games against the Phillies." Joe Aiello, View from the Bleachers
With that, Chicago snags 51 wins and 43 losses and is now 3rd in the National League Central Division.
The afternoon ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channels CSPh and WGN.
