Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead: Nick Gordon Charged With Murder After Family Confirms Death

Whitney Houston's only daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown died July 26, after being in a coma for six months following a drowning incident in her Georgia mansion. Could her boyfriend, Nick Gordon be charged with murder.

The Houston family's rep confirmed the 22-year-old's passing and thanks fans for their prayers and support throughout the difficult time, "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement read. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months." 

Pat Houston released a statement on the family's behalf, "We thank everyone for their support and prayers," she continued, "She is in God's hands now." 

According to TMZ, prosecutors will investigate Bobbi's drowning incident with Nick as a person of interest after her death.

The Fulton County D.A. told the site, "In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest."

Bobbi's closest friend, Alex Reid told E! News that her boyfriend has been abusive to her during their relationship, "Pretty soon after we met she started telling me about the times he had been abusive and it just kept really escalating and kept getting worse and worse."

She revealed what exactly Nick did to his girlfriend, "I can think of 4 really extreme instances. She'll call me and if I didn't answer it would be like 'Alex, I need you.' Like, 'Alex, please call me right now.' Of course I would call and that when she would be crying and I wouldn't understand the words coming out of the mouth, she would just hyperventilate." She added, "He was known to choke her. Throw her into walls, punch her in the jaw."

January 31. Bobbi Kristina was discovered unconscious in her bathtub by her husband, Nick Gordon and their friend. Sources say the young celebrity is breathing with a ventilator machine and further tests haven't shown any progress.
