'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans Custody Battle With Mom Barbara Gets Nasty!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans' custody battle with mother Barbara Evans is still not ending anytime soon. Even with all of the drama surrounding her on again/off again relationship with fiancé Nathan Griffith, the MTV star is still taking her mom to court.

"[Barbara] told me not to get back with [Nathan] and if he comes crawling back, don't get back with him, of course, same old, same old," Jenelle told OK! Magazine, via the Inquisitr.

The controversial mother of two went on to explain what the last straw was the led her to finally file custody of her son Jace.

"Back around Christmas time, [Barbara] was just... Me and Nathan, we were kind of arguing a lot, but she was still keeping Jace away from me even if I was like, 'Well, what if I don't have Nathan there?' She's like, 'No, absolutely not,'" Jenelle explained. "This went on for like a month and I was like, 'Alright, that's it. I'm done. You're not keeping him from me any longer.' So then I went and pursued custody because I was just fed up."

Another reason the North Carolina native filed for guardianship was to have a set time when she can see her son.

"The custody order that's in place basically says, 'Whatever [Barbara Evans] says goes.' And I want something set in stone to where it says, 'Jenelle gets him these days.' So that she has to follow by the guidelines," according to the gossip mag.

As MStars News reported, even though Jenelle and Nathan have each gotten arrested for domestic violence over the past year they still plan on trying the knot at some point in the future.

"We haven't discussed [the wedding]," the reality star told OK! . "We're slowly going back into our relationship. We don't want to jump back into it. Nathan was like, 'Oh maybe we can start planning our wedding soon!' But I think after everything that happened, we need to take a steady pace."

"If I have a wedding it's going to be a year or so from now," she continued. "We have to last at least that long (laughs)."
