Top 5 August 2015 Movies, Releases: 'Fantastic 4,' 'Sinister 2' & More!

August 2015 looks like a great month of new releases hitting movie theaters. We decided to share a list of our top five most anticipated August movies, highlighting the following releases that you can go and watch in theaters this month: Fantastic Four, Man from U.N.C.L.E., Sinister 2, American Ultra and Regression. Fantastic Four (in theaters Aug. 7)

20^th Century Fox hired visionary director Josh Trank for the highly anticipated reboot of the Marvel Comics series Fantastic Four, and it looks like it paid off! Huge box office numbers are expected for this summer blockbuster, which mixes the comic book story with plenty of "gritty backstory" that moviegoers enjoy. What are you expecting from this film? The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (in theaters Aug. 14)

Guy Ritchie directs Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer in this 1960s spy thriller with some sexy action and comedy mixed in. When the USA and the Soviets team up to take down a powerful enemy during the Cold War, two operatives will go head to head for the same cause. Sinister 2 (in theaters Aug. 21)

We all knew a sequel to Sinister was coming up, but are moviegoers prepared for this new take on the supernatural monster movie? When a young mother and her twin sons move into a new home with a horrific past, who will make it out alive? Watch a trailer for Sinister 2 right here:

American Ultra (in theaters Aug. 21)

This could end up being the best comedy of the summer! Starring Jesse Eisenberg as a stoner burnout that doesn't know he's actually a sleeper agent that is suddenly "woken up," only hilarity ensues when he tries to find answers. Kristen Stewart portrays his girlfriend that goes along on the wild ride. Watch a trailer for American Ultra right here:

Regression (in theaters Aug. 28)

Emma Watson, satanic cults and the early 1990s; what more could you ask for in a movie? This is new horror movie examines a terrifying true story of a detective (Ethan Hawk) taking on a sexual abuse case in a small town that evolves into something much bigger and much darker.
