'Pitch Perfect 3' Happening, Brittany Snow Tweets News: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson Attached

Star Wars is one, Lord of the Rings is one, even The Lion King is one — now welcome the newest movie franchise that is about to enter the trilogy club, and we couldn't be more acca-excited about it. It has just been confirmed that Pitch Perfect is about to get a whole new sequel and it has already attracted the attention of the original cast. Not only are Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson on board for the project, but Brittany Snow took to her Twitter to reveal that she will be reprising her role of Chloe for the new movie.

"My hair was never gunna stay blonde anyway," Snow jokingly tweeted about having to dye her hair red again for the role. "More songs with our mouth ;)"

Snow also attached a link to the tweet with an article that Variety posted about the project.

The news site reported that the upcoming third installment in the series about the Barden Bellas seemed almost like a no-brainer, as the first two movies have been massive box-office successes.

The first flick took in $113 million worldwide; while the second has been performing extraordinarily well, more than doubling the earnings of the original picture, with a $282 million gross.

The only downside to this acca-mazing news is that fans are going to have to wait until July 21, 2017 for the brand-new flick to hit theaters, according to E! News. However, in the meantime we are sure that our DVDs of the first two movies are going to definitely be getting a workout.
