Beyonce rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" amazed the crowd and the president during the presidential inauguration, but now, reports are saying the international star did not perform the song live and actually lip-synched. Despite taking off the earpiece as dramatic effect, the singer decided to opt-out singing live to the Washington D.C. crowd.

Accompanied by the United States Marine Band, Beyonce seemed to be singing right along feeling every note, which seemed real until a Marine band rep decided to reveal the inauguration secret, "All music is prerecorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day," a Marine band rep added, "We received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the prerecorded track. We ... don't know why."

Last inauguration, the singer sung two songs, "America the Beautiful" and Etta James' "At Last" during the first dance of the President and First Lady. The lip-synching has people wondering if the singer is losing her touch and perhaps may lip-synch during the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.
