'Voice' Mentors Revealed: Blake Shelton, Adam Lambert Welcome Brad Paisley & Selena Gomez

Talk about star power. The Voice is about to get a big helping of A-List power when the NBC reality series returns for its ninth season in less than two months. While the show always brings on megastars as mentors for the already amazing coaches, this year might just be the most the most star studded yet. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams are taking their seats on the panel and they have enlisted the help of some truly talented individuals to help them take home the season nine trophy. Amongst these names are Selena Gomez, Brad Paisley, John Fogerty and Missy Elliot.

According to Us Weekly, the new mentors are super excited to be joining the cast and the judges couldn't be happier with their picks.

Adam, who has worked with other legends in the past on the show, including Stevie Nicks, enlisted the help of Fogerty this year because he "always wanted to work with [him]," and considers him a "legend."

Missy joins Pharrell's team, with Blake grabbing fellow country singer Brad Paisley as his team's mentor.

"Brad was a good friend to Blake, and it was great for Blake to have him there — especially considering everything Blake is going through," an insider explained, following his split from Miranda Lambert.

While the other names have been in the music business for years, it is Stefani's mentor, Gomez, who stood out as a favorite backstage.

"She was surprisingly amazing as a mentor even though she's so young," an insider explained of the former Disney star. "She exceeded everyone's expectations."

The new season will premiere on Sept. 21 on NBC.
