'Mad Men' Returns With Season 6: Old Don Draper Is Back With A Divorce, Betty Francis Gets Skinny, AMC Releases New Promotion [PHOTOS/ VIDEO]

The Season 6 premiere of "Mad Men" will kick off Sunday, April 7, in a two-hour premiere. In anticipation, AMC has released black-and-white photos of the cast that shows some changes in characters especially, Betty, who struggles with weight gain in the show (hiding a pregnancy off set).

According to Entertainment Weekly, Creator Matthew Weiner said, "This year it's really constructed like a film," He added, "It is its own story and, hopefully, it foreshadows the rest of the season. ... You should know what happened at the end of last season before you see the episode. The whole season is in reference to last season."

When we last left off, Don Draper will head back to his adulterous ways on his new wife Megan Draper. Betty Francis, trying to lose weight on a "Weight Watchers" program. Peggy Olson starts her new job at a different ad agency successfully landing a high tobacco account. Including major game changer as Joan Harris lands a gig with the big boys as she "earns" a partnership at the agency after sleeping with a Jaguar executive to secure an account.

Although, the last season's finale left a with a cliff hanger when an attractive woman sat next to Draper at a bar and asked him "Are you alone?" left everyone wondering if he will go back to his old dog ways.

"Megan's independence was really a disappointment for him," Weiner said. "It really changed his fantasy of what that relationship would be. Is he threatened by it? Is that the thing that drives him to be unfaithful? I don't know." The creator added, "We've been taking advantage of the 26 episodes we have left to do all the things that we've wanted to do, and so far I think that the audience is in for quite a ride."
