Baseball's back for the official 2015 MLB season!
The Tampa Bay Rays take the field against the Chicago White Sox in Week 18 of the regular season on Wednesday, August 5 at 2:10 p.m. EST at US Cellular Field in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Game 3 afternoon ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
While Tampa Bay snags a rather neutral standing in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 MLB teams (power rankings), Chicago still lags a few spots behind:
White Sox (20): "An actually decent month for the White Sox offense (.753 OPS in July) has placed them within an arm's length of the pack of AL wild-card contenders. But after a quiet trade deadline, they'll be hard-pressed to run down the Angels, the Twins or the souped-up Blue Jays." James Fegan, The Catbird Seat
Chicago currently maintains a 50-55 winning record, and remains 4th in the American League Central Division.
Rays (16): "Technically sellers at the trade deadline, the Rays remain in contention for a playoff spot despite a prolonged slide down the standings and a roster lacking top-tier talent. In an effort to give the current group a boost, power prospect Richie Shaffer will join the club Monday in Chicago." Tommy Rancel, The Process Report
With that, Tampa Bay holds a tied winning record of 54-54 and is now 4th in the American League Eastern Division. The Rays could sweep the current series with a Game 3 win.
This afternoon's final ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channel CSCh.
