The August 5, 2015 episode of WWE's NXT features two solid matches in Charlotte vs. Bayley and Samoa Joe vs. Rhyno.
The episode begins with the much-anticipated match between Charlotte and Bayley. The Hugster finally vanquishes her longtime rival when Charlotte tries for Natural Selection off the top rope, and Bayley reverses it into a Bayley to Belly for the win.
Kevin Owens sits down for an interview with Michael Cole and expresses his displeasure that William Regal, a man in a position of authority, has publicly stated he wants Finn Balor to beat him at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. To prevent a "Brooklyn Screwjob," Owens wants this to be a ladder match. Cole asks Owens if he can beat Balor, and Owens walks away.
Baron Corbin squashes some local enhancement talent in mere seconds with the End of Days.
Bayley enters Regal's office and asks for an NXT Women's Championship match with Sasha Banks at Takeover: Brooklyn. The General Manager says she can have her match if she defeats Becky Lynch next week.
Tyler Breeze squashes a different local enhancement talent with the Beauty Shot. Regal comes down to the ring after the match and announces that Breeze will face Jushin "Thunder" Liger at Takeover: Brooklyn.
Finn Balor is backstage with Byron Saxton and says he and Owens used to be friends, but he cannot respect what Owens has done since he got to WWE. He says Sami Zayn warned him not to underestimate Owens, and he accepts the ladder match challenge.
Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder defeat Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with the tag team Rough Ryder. After the match, Wilder and Dawson attack Rawley and hit their finisher on Ryder.
Samoa Joe defeats Rhyno with the Muscle Buster in the main event.

The episode begins with a match between Enzo Amore and Big Cass and Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Dawson and Wilder pick up the win after a referee distraction that allows them to toss Big Cass into the ring steps. They hit their finisher on Enzo for the victory.
Chad Gable and Jason Jordan cut a promo backstage in which they run down the rest of the tag team division.

We see a video package in which Bull Dempsey overeats and then comically fails at working out in the gym.
Charlotte defeats Dana Brooke with Natural Selection despite interference from Emma.
Samoa Joe cuts a promo and says he is here to win the NXT Championship. He says Rhyno has been a monster in the past but promises to put an end to him next week.
We see a clip from last week in which Kevin Owens apologizes to William Regal for hitting him during the contract signing with Finn Balor. Regal says he can't wait to see Owens truly get beat at Takeover: Brooklyn.
Kevin Owens demolishes Martin Stone with the Pop-Up Powerbomb. He delivers an Apron Powerbomb after the bell and mimics Finn Balor's pose on the turnbuckle.
We see a video package for Rhyno.
Blake and Murphy retain the NXT Tag Team Championship after Alexa Bliss interferes. The Vaudevillains hit the Whirling Dervish after the bell and surround Alexa, but they do their chivalry thing and hold the ropes for her to leave. She instead insults and slaps them before she walks out. The champions pose on the stage as the show goes off the air.
