Another one bites the dust. For the 18th season of The View, the producers tried to change up the panel of stars by adding two new faces, one returning face and one veteran face to the cast, but one-by-one, the stars have all bowed out the series. Rosie O'Donnell was the first to throw in the towel and she was quickly followed by Rosie Perez. Today, another one of the season 18 girls has called it quits. It is being reported that Nicolle Wallace will no longer be sitting amongst the gals on the panel when the show return for its new season this fall.
According to E! News, Wallace revealed on the air on Thursday's episode that she wouldn't be returning to the series.
"I love you guys, and you know, I never thought I would get this job in a million years. I was more surprised to get it than I would have been to not get it," the star explained to the audience. "But I have loved being a part of this table, I have loved sitting in this chair, and it was never mine, but I'm lucky I got to occupy it for a little bit."
PEOPLE is also reporting that Wallace had some kind words for her co-panelists including newcomer, Raven-Symone.
"I love you to death, and I think what you say about politics is so spot-on because it's true, and it's not just your truth, it's true for a lot of people in your generation," Nicolle explained. "So keep talking about politics, don't let anybody tell you that people don't want to hear it."
Wallace also gave a shout out to Whoopi and Rosie Perez, in the clip saying, "You two are the loves of my life."
Nicolle will definitely be missed.
