FX's 'The Strain' Season 2: Episode 5 Spoilers: Will Corey Stoll, Mia Maestro "Push Back?"

Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, Season 2 ofThe Strain continues on FX. In the upcoming Episode 5, will Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) "push back" against The Master?

In our previous recap, the hunt for Zach continues as Eph and Nora have discovered a serum that could potentially hurt the vampire strain. Knowing he failed to stop The Master, Abraham (David Bradley) ingested himself with the parasitic worms to extend his life. Though they planned on kidnapping Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde), Gus was the sole survivor of the billionaire's vicious attack against the vampire vampire hunters.

In our recent recap, defeated and frightened, Gus (Miguel Gomez) discovered his infected mother still under The Master's control. Could things turn around for Gus when he suddenly meets his hero, a former wrestler, known as The Silver Angel (Joaquin Cosio). While Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) found himself captured by the military police, Eph and Nora discovered their own homemade disease is having an effect on the bloodsuckers.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, the Ant-Man actor teases the relationship between Eph and Nora, "It goes all over the map. There was a lot more politeness in the first season, if you can believe that. Everybody's just a little afraid and, for me, yeah, she really gets a great chance to show her strength and that she's not just going to be pushed around. She definitely pushes back pretty hard.

Stoll adds if Kelly and Eph will have their own confrontation over Zack, " He believes that it is a terminal condition and so the only way to stop the spread is to kill all the strigoi. And a lot of the back-and-forth tension between Zach and Eph is about getting Zach to understand that she's gone, and to really accept that. And it takes a while. He's really stubborn."
