Niall Horan Dating Laura Whitmore? 1Der Parties with Newly Single MTV Starlet and 'Mystery Brunette,' Fans Freak on Twitter [PHOTOS]

One Direction crooner Niall Horan recently enjoyed a night out on the town with stunning Irish starlet Laura Whitmore, sparking rumors that the boy band heartthrob and popular MTV Europe presenter may secretly be "dating." The 19-year-old singer was also spotted chatting it up with another girl on the same night... a pretty mystery brunette. One Directioners instantly responded to the budding romance buzz on Twitter... especially since 27-year-old Whitmore just got out of a serious relationship with her longtime boyfriend Danny O'Reilly. Although the duo were spotted partying at a concert in London on Monday (Jan. 21), Whitmore insists that the two are just very good friends, and fans need to chill out.

Up-and-coming British musician Darren Flynn tweeted this on Monday... a message which many 1Ders quickly took notice of on the popular social networking site:

The group of close pals hit up the Electric Ballroom in Camden to rock out with The Vaccines... and several photos were snapped of Horan and Whitmore hopping in a taxi together after the show:

But to say that the duo must be dating is a bit extreme... there's no signs of the pair actually "flirting" or "cuddling up" - they were apparently just having a good time out with friends. Horan was even spotted sharing some laughs and getting close with another mystery brunette gal:

But that didn't keep such "Horan and Whitmore dating" rumors from spreading on Twitter:

Following all the Twitter hoopla, Whitmore sent out this tweet on Jan. 25 to debunk the recent dating rumors:

@thewhitmore: "Niall is my lil brother from another mother, RELAX one direction fans. You honestly have NOTHING to worry about x."

Whitmore did break up with her longtime beau back in December, but the duo are still very close friends. The week before Christmas, Whitmore even jetted back to Ireland to be at O'Reilly's gig.

So it looks like that settles that! What ever happened to those rumors about Horan dating Demi Lovato, anyway? And what about that mystery brunette...
