Bobbi Kristina Brown Murder Rumors: Nick Gordon Slammed With $40M Lawsuit Over Death

Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon denies drugging and drowning claims after being slammed with wrongful death charges in the $40 million lawsuit by her conservator, Bedelia Hargrove.

The new documents claim that the Whitney Houston's adopted son, came home from a night of alcohol and drug binge when the couple argued about his alleged affair. The file claims he drugged the 22-year-old before plunging her head in cold water.

Nick's attorneys, Joe Habachy and Jose Baez, slammed the recent claims to Bossip.com and claim the lawsuit is a tactic to defame his character, "The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless. Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it's shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly."

The attorneys added, "Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most."

July 26, The Houston family's rep confirmed the passing and thanked fans for their prayers and support throughout the difficult time, "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement read. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months." 

Bobbi's closest friend, Alex Reid told E! News that her boyfriend has been abusive to her during their relationship, "Pretty soon after we met she started telling me about the times he had been abusive and it just kept really escalating and kept getting worse and worse."

She revealed what exactly Nick did to his girlfriend, "I can think of 4 really extreme instances. She'll call me and if I didn't answer it would be like 'Alex, I need you.' Like, 'Alex, please call me right now.' Of course I would call and that when she would be crying and I wouldn't understand the words coming out of the mouth, she would just hyperventilate." She added, "He was known to choke her. Throw her into walls, punch her in the jaw."

January 31, Bobbi Kristina was discovered unconscious in her bathtub by her husband, Nick Gordon and their friend. Sources say the young celebrity is breathing with a ventilator machine and further tests haven't shown any progress.
