Alec Baldwin, Hilaria Thomas Baby Rumors: '30 Rock' Actor's Spanish Wife Pregnant? Couple Tweets 'No Comment'

Alec Baldwin and his 28-year-old Spanish wife, Hilaria Thomas, could be expecting a baby. Baldwin and Thomas have yet to make any official announcements, but friends of the couple are starting the pregnancy gossip. Matthew Hitzik, a representative of Baldwin and Thomas, took to Twitter in response to the uproar of baby rumors with the following tweets:

Pregnancy rumors have been commonplace for Baldwin and Thomas ever since they were married on June 30, 2012, at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City. The couple had a short, two-month engagement before the wedding, so rumors sprung up immediately. But this time, the news seems a little more legitimate considering the source is a friend of the couple. I guess we will just have to wait for Alec or Hilaria to post on their Twitter accounts about the news, since they are both active users. 

Another constant issue that the couple faces is the 26-year age difference between them. Baldwin is a legendary, 54-year-old actor and his wife is a 28-year-old yaga instructor. This is all anyone really knows about the couple. Surely the age differance is not a taboo subject considering many other clelbrities are in similar relationships. Alas, the topic is always coming up, even with Baldwin's popular television show, 30 Rock, coming to an end this Thursday. Alec Baldwin redefined his career while taking on the role of Jack Donaghy and even winning 2 Emmy Awards. It is definitely going to be sad to see such a great character go, but maybe Alec will have something else in his life to celebrate. I mean the rumored baby.

Baldwin has a daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage with actress Kim Basinger. Besides getting in trouble for playing an iPhone game on an airplane, Alec Baldwin has been in the tabloids constantly for his family trouble. A voicemail to daughter, Ireland, featuring Alec yelling at his daughter and calling her names in response to her not returning his call. This was all happening around the time Basinger and Baldwin divorced, so Alex was a under a lot of stress, but it was still quite the voicemail. 

I hope Alec and Hilaria are expecting a baby. There have been a lot of rumors and stories about pregnancies and another one (especially one about such a respectable actor and his lovely young wife) can't exactly hurt anyone. It is also fun to think about how old Baldwin will be when his child has his or her first day of school. He'll be 61 years old, for your information.
