You know what they say, "like father, like son." Ice Cube is probably excited about his son, aka his twin, O'Shea Jackson, Jr., playing his role in the anticipated film, Straight Outta Compton. One reason why the rapper is more than likely proud is because his son aspires to be just like his famous dad, even wearing Ice Cube's legendary "jheri curl."

According to VH1, O'Shea Jr. talked with Conan O'Brien about the upcoming N.W.A. biopic and how he transformed into his father.

"The Jheri curl is almost like Superman's cape," O'Shea told the comedian. "Once I put it on, the transformation really starts to happen."

After showing Ice Cube in the 80s, the rapper joked about his own choice in hair and said that comedian and actor, Kevin Hart "said I look like Sheila E. right there," as the audience laughed.

The other guest on the couch chimed in that Ice could pass for one of the DeBarge brothers.

The rappers son even gave everyone in the audience his dad's infamous stare and said the jheri curl was "definitely popping because it's a period piece."

He added, "It's the only thing that has changed about my dad." Ice Cube said that "curl activator makes you do gangster rap just a little better."

The rapper claimed he'd go back to wearing a jheri curl only if O'Brien would rock one too.

Sounds like a good idea! MStars News wants to know, would some of you rock a jheri curl?

In the next video, O'Shea did draw some attention as TMZ's cameraman thought he was his father, Ice Cube. As for what this new film will bring, aka fame for Jr., he claims he doesn't mind the hype and attention at all.

"It should be cool, I won't be able to go to Six Flags no more, so that kind of kills it all," O'Shea said. Ice Cube was the one who picked up his son from LAX airport and he told TMZ that he didn't care if his son took his place from the spotlight.

"That's cool, y'all can shoot him. You ain't gotta worry about me no more," the 90s hip hop star said.
