MStars News has learnd that another New York rapper has died. According to PIX 11, Sean Price, a member of hip-hop groups Heltah Skeltah, Boot Camp Clik and Random Axe, died Saturday, at the age of 43 years old in Brooklyn. His debut solo album, Monkey Barz, dropped ten years ago.
Price's death was confirmed by his record label, Duck Down Music.
"It is with beyond a heavy heart that Duck Down Music is sadly confirming that Sean Price passed away early this morning in his Brooklyn apartment, Saturday, August 8th, 2015," the statement read on Duck Down Music's website.
The statement added that Price's cause of death has yet been determined, but the rapper apperently died in his sleep.
"The cause of death is currently unknown, but it was reported that he died in his sleep." The rapper had three children and a wife. Details regarding his death will be updated soon.
"He's survived by his wife, and his three children," the statement explained. "Sean Price, who turned 43 in March of this year, was a beloved rap artist. He was 1/2 of the group Heltah Skeltah, a key member of the Boot Camp Clik, and a successful solo artist, known simply as Sean Price. Sean's family and friends are asking for time to grieve and process the news. Further details will be issued when more information is available...."

Price made a name for himself going by the name of Ruck, which is one-half of Heltah Skeltah along with another Brownsville native rapper Jahmal Bush, who goes by the name of Rock. Together, they released the 1996 debut album, "Nocturnal."
Price went back to his birth name for his first solo album, in 2005 which was called, "Monkey Barz." His latest album, was in 2012, titled "Mic Tyson." Price was also working on a mixtape before his died.
After learning about Price's death, Brooklyn MC Talib Kweli said: "Sean Price went from being a childhood hero of mine to a great friend. He was the most competitive MC I've ever met & kept me on my game."
The rapper tweeted: "I'm going fishing Sunday at Sheepshead Bay I did it last week it was relaxing," one day before he died.

A memorial show will be held in NYC on Thursday, August 27.
