Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is still wrapped up in a nasty custody battle with first ex-husband Corey Simms, but luckily for her, he won't be able to use footage from the hit reality series against her in court. Will the MTV stars drag out the fight for their twins much longer?
Throughout this season, Leah has been shown frazzled while taking care of her three daughters Ali, Aleah, and Adalynn. One of the girls even told Corey that Leah's constant sleeping has caused the little girl to make her own breakfast using a toaster by herself!

"Legally, Corey can't use the footage from the show against Leah, no matter how damning," a source told The Ashley Reality Roundup. "Nothing in the show can be used in court by parties that have signed contracts. The reason is because in the contracts it says that MTV has the right to portray things however they want."
"The contracts state that the show may not depict a whole truth," the source went on. "So when Corey tried [to use the episodes] as evidence in court, the judge said no right off the bat."

The reality gossip site also reported the West Virginia native wrote a message on her personal Facebook regarding taking care of her daughters.
"My sweet little girls," she posted. "Mommy promises you the world, and that everything will be okay! I will ALWAYS look out for your BEST interest even when it's hard for me. I love you so truly and deeply!"
As MStars News reported, the MTV mom's recent rehab stay for personal issues has created a spotlight on her parenting skills. She must stay clean to keep sharing custody of her girls.
"So far, Leah's been on good behavior and things are running smoothly with her and the kids," a source told Life & Style. "If her behavior raises any red flags, they will definitely make a move."
Do you think Corey should be able to use video from Teen Mom 2 against Leah in their custody battle? Or do you think the Teen Mom 2 footage would be unrealistic for a court case as important as a custody battle?
