More and more about Ronda Rousey's incredible past is coming out thanks to her Reddit AMA. She taught us her favorite Pokemon is the legendary psychic type Mew and that she even moderated a message board about the game. We also learned that Rousey struggled with an eating disorder and body issues. According to her, living with bulimia for so long, Rousey says she is finally liberated of the guilt that comes with eating meals.
The discussion about her disorder came about when she was asked about it by the user Ronda_Rousey87. "How does it feel to conquer something so daunting," they asked.
"It feels very liberating to free of the guilt that used to come with every meal," the champion responded. "And I feel like I have so much extra space in my brain now that I'm not constantly thinking about the next meal and trying to eat as much as possible every day while still losing weight. I feel amazing. I (think) I look amazing. And I just ate some bomb-ass french toast this morning. I'm so happy to hear about all the progress you've made on yourself and best of luck for the future."

Rousey also opened up about her body issues earlier this year with Yahoo Beauty. She says it wasn't until her current training regimen did she felt happy with herself.
"I struggled with bulimia and all these things for years. I was unhappy," Rousey said. "I had to attend to all of the other things in my life, like my career and my training, to get to a point where I trained just because I loved it. I didn't even know that was what I wanted, but I made myself happy first and then got the "oh wow" body."
