Nicki Minaj Divulges Mystery Behind Her Flawless Make-Up, Speaks About Her Grammy Snub

Rapper and judging panelist on "American Idol," Nicki Minaj, always has impeccable make-up that stands out from the rest. Her style is also dubbed as 'Barbie.'

''I always wear pink lips. It's a Barbie look and I love it," Minaj told InStyle Magazine.

"I tend to stick to the same eye look- a big black lash and a big black liner. I like to layer my lashes and sometimes add glitter to my eyelids,'' she said.

Minaj loves the color pink and she recently also released a new fragrance called "Pink Friday."

"I knew if there was a pink wig on the bottle [of my new scent], it would be synonymous with my persona. When they came back with a sketch, I nearly passed out - it's perfect," she told.

Other thing of beautification she loves the most is nail art, and she prefers long and pointed talons.

"I always used to have my nails square, but now I've started wearing them pointy. I do my own nail art. I get a bunch of beautiful colours and just play until I have an abstract,'' said the 30-year-old rapper.

Minaj Speaks About Her Grammy Snub

Though her debut album "Pink Friday" was nominated for three Grammy Awards, her recent album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" wasn't. Minaj is not feeling let down by this. She believes when it is her time she will definitely get one.

"I've gotten tons of awards and I believe when it's my time to get a Grammy, I'll get a Grammy. I think that the Grammys had a different reason, that I do not want to discuss ... and that's just between me and them. But I respect their organization and I'll get a Grammy eventually. I'm not worried about it," she said, PerezHilton reported.
