Rumors suggest that Rihanna's currently juggling LOTS of romantic flings throughout Hollywood. And according to NBA superstar Matt Barnes, a blossoming relationship with the "FourFiveSeconds" crooner is yet another definite possibility...
Yeah, right!
During a quick chat with TMZ outside of the UCLA Softball Stadium on Saturday (August 15), the Memphis Grizzlies baller insisted that he's "just friends" with the 27-year-old Barbadian bombshell. Still, supposedly feelings are quickly growing between the two:
Apparently, they were recently spotted on a few intimate dates together...
But RiRi won't hear it. Following Barnes' shocking confession, the "B*tch Better Have My Money" BadGal shared this harsh Instagram response:

She basically refuses to acknowledge Barnes' friendship, nevermind accepting him as an actual boyfriend!
Barnes has yet to respond to the hostile shutdown.
Well, Twitter fans are amused:
@pattymo: "Yowza. I guess Matt Barnes never heard the age-old proverb, 'Don't 'cutely' imply that you're dating Rihanna when you've never met Rihanna.'"
@MatthewACherry: "Matt Barnes: I liked a few of Rihanna's IG pics so I guess you can say things are getting pretty serious."
@metroadlib: "matt barnes is trending... b/c rihanna put her stiletto nails inside of his rib cage and squeezed at his lungs from the inside. on instagram."
@callmedollar: "All the best to Robyn Rihanna Fenty! Matt Barnes might as well go and retire. #shesneverevenmetyou."
@HitDaBoogieZ: "Rihanna hit Matt Barnes with the #DefamationOfCharacter hashtag. My heart hurts FOR him."
But do MstarsNews readers simply think Rih's trying to hide an emotionally unattached hook-up that she now ultimately regrets? Especially if she's still trying to work things out with Chris Brown...
Drake's ex was also recently linked to Lewis Hamilton, Travis Scott, and Karim Benzema.
