Sharon Stone, Martin Mica Split Up: Actress and 27-Year-Old Model Boyfriend Rumored to have Called it Quits

Sharon Stone, famous for her sultry role in the film Basic Instinct (among others), is rumored to have split from her 27-year-old Argentinian model boyfriend, Martin Mica, after 8 months of dating. The 54-year-old Stone is apparently would rather spend her time with her children and on her career instead of her boytoy, Mica. The age difference has put quite a strain on the May-December romance throughout the 8 months of existence, a source says. Unfortunately, I don't think this source was aware of the couple seen just yesterday in Beverly Hills, California, holding hands and smiling. But who knows, a lot can change in a day especially with such an age gap.

It seems that these rumors turned out to be false as proof of the couples' Beverly Hills stroll, but the reasons given for the false break up are pretty good reasons for the couple to split. I wish them the best, but Stone and Mica should consider them. Sharon stone has been divorced twice and has 3 sons. The rumors stated that Stone wanted to focus more of her time on her sons, which is clearly an admirable motive to end the relationship. As an A-list actress, her free time is certainly scarce, so more time for family is always a good idea. 

According to her IMDB page, Sharon has at least 6 projects in that take up her professional time. As stated earlier, another justification for Stone to split with Mica is her acting career. Sharon Stone is a household name because of her consistency with roles and ability to draw an audience to a film. One of her upcoming projects in the works is the movie Lovelace, a biopic about adult film legend Linda Lovelace of Deep Throat fame. Stone will be portraying Lovelace's strict mother in the film. Stone will be acting opposite James Franco and Amanda Seyfried who plays the title character. 

Another factor that comes into play is how the young Argentinian model, Mica, feels about the whole situation. People always views a relationship involving such an age difference as the younger one using the older participant to gain fame, etc., so that could be the case with Martin Mica. I mean He is 27 years old and a model. But it seems that both he and Stone are in it for at least a little more time. The couple was first spotted in a passionate exchange last May and after their outing in California yesterday seem to be doing well. The rumors of a split are just that and we will have to see how the relationship plays out. This added attention could be a positive turn for the couple or it could add a strain.
