50 Shades of Grey Movie Casting News UPDATE: Matt Bomer Finally Speaks on Christian Grey Rumors, 'Flattered, but No Comment' [POLL]

Bomer, Somerhalder, Bomer, Somerhalder... Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder remain two hot Christian Grey favorites in several "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting polls (with Henry Cavill, Ryan Gosling, and a few other Hollywood heartthrobs thrown into the mix every now and then for fun). While 34-year-old Somerhalder has made it obvious that he's really interested in pursuing the kinky, erotic role, 35-year-old Bomer remains relatively quiet on all the casting rumors... until now. In a recent interview with Metro UK, the "White Collar" star doesn't offer up much thought on the prospect of playing Christen Grey, but he does admit that he's flattered so many fans want him to snag the highly-coveted role. Hey, it's not much, but at least it's something!

During the recent Metro UK interview, Bomer is asked what he thinks about the ongoing online campaign to get him cast as the sexually mysterious, handsome millionaire - Christian Grey. The charming "White Collar" conman responds with a simple, "No comment. That's my line on that. But it's very flattering that I've got fans who would like to see me in things."

The "Fifty Shades" buzz surrounding Matt Bomer has considerably died down over the past few weeks, considering the limelight surrounding fellow fan-favorites Somerhalder and 29-year-old Cavill continues to grow (Somerhalder had a "Fifty Shades" book giveaway on Twitter and later tweeted that he's "reading a new movie script" while Cavill was recently named the "Breakout Star" of 2013 and supposedly had reps from his AAA agency meet with "Fifty Shades" producers).

Is it about time for Bomer to stir a little gossip in order to snag some Christian Grey attention back? Maybe his recent "no comment, but I'm flattered" remark is what did the trick...
