The New Jersey Devils vs. the New York Islanders battle it out on the ice at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Sunday afternoon hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Devils head into Sunday afternoon's game at the no 6 spot in the Bleacher Report's power rankings with a 3-0-3 record (9 points). According to columnist Matty Schireiber, "The Devils are playing some great hockey. They have tallied a point in every game this season. Things are on the up-and-up. Since they got to the Stanley Cup last year, anything less than a Stanley Cup victory would be a disappointment in New Jersey." The Islanders snag the no 8 spot, with a 4-2-1 record (9 points). As Schireiber points out, "The Islanders are the most surprising team in the league thus far. They are tied for first in the Atlantic division with the New Jersey Devils... Funny enough, with teams like New Jersey, New York (Rangers) and Pittsburgh in the division, the Islanders are the only team to have put up 20 goals thus far in 2013. In fact, they have put up eight more goals than any team in the division."
When both tri-state teams last faced-off, the Devils proved victorious 2-1 (on Jan. 19). Sunday's pre-Super Bowl game should prove a heated battle out on the ice.
The game will be broadcasted live on MSG Plus, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 88.7 WRHU and WFAN 660
