The Back Lives Matter movement has caused quite a bit of a stir and headlines in various situations since its rapid growth stemming from repeated cases of unarmed black people being brutally beaten, or even killed, by white police officers. On Thursday's episode of the Fox News show The Five, the hosts explained that the movement "excludes white people," according to the Huffington Post, and puts them in an "impossible situation."

Host Melissa Frances noted that it is "uncomfortable" discussing race issues in the United States now that #BlackLivesMatter has risen. "Sometimes you feel like it's hard to say anything right."

To that, Kimberly Guilfoyle claimed that it's insulting to say that white people do not understand the issue of Black Lives Matter simply because they cannot relate to it, noting that it does not give people credit. "Open your mind and look to the individual," she says.

Eventually, guest host Brian Kilmeade chimed in explaining that he's done being blamed for everything of the past.

"We're in an impossible situation. If you come up to us and go, 'Well there was slavery in this country 220 years ago and white people did it and I hold you responsible,' what do you want me, Melissa, Greg and Kimberly to say?"

The conversation about the "difficulties" of being white on Fox News sparked from presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's recent closed-door meeting with a handful of Black Lives Matter activists, in which she urged the activists that the way to get things done in Washington is not by changing hearts, but by changing laws and allocation of resources.
