Singer-songwriter, Frank Ocean has dropped charges against singer Chris Brown. The charges were brought about after they had a fight at Westlake Recording studio in Los Angeles, Jan. 27.
Ocean posted on his Tumblr page saying, "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer."
"I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace," he said.
Both were involved in a fight over a car parking space at the recording studio in L.A. An eyewitness account stated that it was Brown who first punched Ocean and hence police booked a case against Brown. But other sources close to Brown insist that it was Ocean who started the fight. The fight had ruined the lobby of the studio when it moved inside.
But Ocean's music producer, Michael Uzowuru said he was present when the fight took place and insists that Brown's group "beat the living "s**t" out of" Ocean, TMZ reported.
Ocean is expected to perform at the Grammy awards ceremony.
