Rapper Lil Wayne won't give up the fight, and apparently Cash Money Records mogul Birdman is finally ready to accept defeat. Well, maybe...
Earlier this month, the infamous hip-hip entrepreneur shared this rather cryptic post on Instagram:
birdman5star: "4Life LFLS YMCMB."
But wait, isn't he still embroiled in a bitter industry feud with the #FreeWeezy hypeman? Several fans immediately called Birdman out on his rather weak response:
otb_dree: "f*ck all that. now you want sh*t back. b*tch you shouldn't have been with that big-mouthing! n*gga in jail cause of you and you wanna make sh*t right! louisiana dont even claim you! you're a joke!"
chida_millz_: "When you miss bae but have too much pride to admit it."
shieldsdonald: "Man u miss ya lil stunna 5sta i wish shit was lik the old days BIG TYMERS."
trilleb2flyymnmgr: "brah Weezy aint f*ckin wit chu."
thehustle1991: "Forgive Forget and get C5 out ASAP."
don_juliojr_36: "Wave ya white flag all u want b*tch he color blind."
kraziexmind713 : "N*gga Trying To Play It Off. Ahahaha [crying]."
tkiller03: "He done turned on Wayne for a fag now he wanna do sh*t like dis, Wayne is at tha top witout them Best Rapper ever."
Harsh, but do MstarsNews readers agree? Maybe he can "make things right" by finally releasing Wayne's highly-anticipated (and constantly delayed) new album, The Carter V!
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old New Orleans emcee won't let such drama slow him down. Rumored girlfriend Christina Milian even helped hype his new song with O.T. Genasis entitled "Do It" -
christinamilian: "But I'm a go ahead and Do It... just have fun... #DoIt ft. @liltunechi coming soon... flashback to my Slay Saturday at #hot100fest @jaquelknight and his sexy ass choreography."
Should Weezy ultimately accept Birdman's rather meager attempt at apologizing?
