This is sad but a true story. WBDJ has lost two of their TV news members after reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were shot dead during a live interview. The video footage of this shooting is hard to watch.
According to NY Daily News, the two news team members were killed Wednesday morning in a shooting that was captured in the live broadcast, seen in a lin provided below.
In the tragic broadcast, Parker was interviewing a woman at Bridgewataver Plaza in Moneta, Virginia when a gunman started shooting. You can see both women try to dodge bullets and run. Parker is heard screaming when at least 7 gunshots are fired.
The anchor at the news station is seen shocked as she tries to go on with the live broadcast. You can watch this terrifying video right here.
WBDJ is located in Roanoke, Virginia. The news station confirmed the murders of two of their staff members, and wrote via Twitter: "We love you, Alison and Adam."

During the broadcast, WBDJ updated their viewers as they tired to figure out what was happening. The station added the following tweets below:

According to the station's site, Ward graduated from Virginia Tech and Parker attended James Madison University.
No details were released about the woman being interviewed. Police are still looking for the gunman, as surrounding schools were put on lockdown.
The identity of the gunman is still unknown.
