It's been a tragic day in the world of Journalism. MStars News previously reported that two members of the WDBJ news team were shot dead during a live broadcast. We have been keeping you updated with the latest details surrounding this senseless crime and have learned that the reporter killed, Alison Parker's boyfriend, Chris Hurst was part of the WDBJ family and is speaking out.
In a series of tweets, Hurst remembered his girlfried as a "radiant woman." A heartbroken Hurst revealed that they were together for nine months and had just moved in together. Hurst wrote in his tweets:
"We didn't share this publicly, but @AParkerWDBJ7 and I were very much in love. We just moved in together. I am numb. We were together almost nine months," Hurst added, "It was the best nine months of our lives. We wanted to get married. We just celebrated her 24th birthday. She was the most radiant woman I ever met. And for some reason she loved me back. She loved her family, her parents and her brother. I am comforted by everyone at @WDBJ7. We are a family. She worked with Adam every day. They were a team. I am heartbroken for his fiancee."
