The August 26, 2015 episode of WWE's NXT will follow up on the emotional and spectacular NXT Takeover: Brooklyn live special on Saturday from the Barclays Center. So without further ado, let's get to our full preview for tonight.

Finn Balor is still NXT Champion after a greuling and brutal ladder match with Kevin Owens. The former champion pulled out all the stops to try and reclaim the belt, but a Coup De Grace from the top of the ladder kept the big man down long enough for The Demon to climb the ladder and hold onto the championship.

This seemed like a proper sendoff for Owens as he transitions full time to the main roster, where he is currently feuding with Cesaro. There's no reason Owens can't pop back down to NXT whenever the need arises, but he should now focus his attention almost exclusively to Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night SmackDown.

Balor, meanwhile, is now free to shine down in NXT until they need him up on the main roster. There are numerous superstars with whom Balor can feud on the yellow brand, but perhaps the most interesting one is currently injured: Hideo Itami. Balor and Itami are friends, and this could even lead to a heel turn for Balor if they reveal that he is the one who "injured" Hideo in storyline.

But for now, Balor needs a challenger, and the list of possibilities is lengthy. Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, Samoa Joe, Apollo Crews, and more. Who will step up tonight for a shot at the champion?

Bayley is now the NXT Women's Champion as she culminated a nearly two-year journey with an extremely emotional victory over Sasha Banks at Takeover: Brooklyn. The roof nearly came off the Barclays Center after Bayley hit a second suplex and pinned The Boss. Bayley wept openly as she clutched the title, and you could spot some moist eyes in the audience, too. Charlotte and Becky Lynch came out to celebrate with her, and even Sasha Banks showed respect to her foe in a moment reminiscent of the famous Curtain Call that the Kliq pulled in 1996. It was a final, shining moment for these Four Horsewomen as three of them head off to the main roster for good.

Now that Bayley is champion, who will be her first opponent? Alexa Bliss? Eva Marie? Carmella? Emma? Perhaps we'll find out tonight.

We also have new NXT Tag Team Champions in The Vaudevillains after they defeated Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy with the help of Blue Pants. Blake and Murphy will likely get a rematch before the champs move onto new opponents. Could that rematch happen tonight?

Elsewhere, Samoa Joe handed Baron Corbin his first loss, while the visiting veteran Jushin "Thunder" Liger took out Tyler Breeze. We'll have to see if these feuds continue tonight or if any of these four men progress to another feud.
