The oh-so-hilarious Hulu comedy series Difficult People, starring the likes of comedians Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner, has officially been picked up for a second season. The Amy Poehler executive-produced online series stars the two as up-and-coming comics who are trying to manage their way through living life in New York City. Unfortunately, they're pretty difficult people themselves ... dealing with difficult people.
Obviously...
Per a report from Deadline, Hulu's head of content, Craig Erwich, said, "We have been fans of Difficult People from day one and are so happy to have Julie and Billy be part of the Hulu family." Furthermore, the exec added, "I cannot wait to see what a whole new season will bring and am pleased to bring more of their hilarious brand of comedy to fans."
Following the news, the stars of the series showed off their excitement on Twitter:

DIFFICULT PEOPLE has just been picked up for a second season!!! Thanks @hulu and to all the difficult people who are watching!!! Woohoo!!! — billy eichner (@billyeichner) August 27, 2015
Eichner gained much popularity through his online series-turned-TV-show Billy on the Street, which consisted of him running through the streets of Manhattan asking random strangers random questions either with or without a celebrity guest such as Lena Dunham, Seth Meyers or David Letterman. No matter what, Eichner's questions largely came in an abrasive tone. But hey, that's him, and fans couldn't get enough of it.
Klausner has become an incredible staple in the New York comedy scene, and has been featured in projects such as Ugly Americans, Mulaney, Bob's Burgers and much more.
So, Difficult People Season 2! Thoughts?
