Drake vs. Common Beef, Serena Williams (Ex) Girlfriend Jealousy? No 'Bad Blood' Dating Shade

Thankfully, Drake won't have to target rapper Common in yet another epic diss track. Rumors suggest that the YMCMB superstar finally rekindled a romance with beloved tennis champ, Serena Williams. And her "Glory" ex-lover is totally cool with that!

Back in 2011/2012, both 28-year-old Drizzy and the 43-year-old Grammy Award winner pursued a relationship with 33-year-old Williams. The Chicago emcee eventually won the battle, and ultimately dated Williams for just a few months. Apparently she had very strong feelings for the 6 God rapper, but he wouldn't stop hooking-up with groupies...

Anyway, Common no longer holds any bitterness towards the Toronto native. Everything's good!

The popular gossip tabloid TMZ spoke to the hip-hop icon outside of Beverly Hills' Ebaldi restuarant on Wednesday (August 26), where Common expressed his heartfelt happiness for Williams:

The Nobody's Smiling crooner smoothly explains why he gives this new Hollywood "power couple" his blessing:

"Serena's a friend of mine - as long as she's happy, I'm good. That's my friend - we dated [but] that's been done a long time ago. She's doing super good [with] tennis and she's incredible. So as long as she's happy, I'm good."

Way to take the mature high road! And several Twitter fans (despite some vicious cyber haters) agree - they definitely make a cute pair:
