The August 31, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and will start to progress to the Night of Champions pay-per-view on Sept. 20. During that event, Sting will face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The show will air on the USA Network, but if you can't watch there, then try here or here, both of which broadcast free live streams of the show (this may require downloading a torrent).
At the end of the most recent Raw on the night after SummerSlam, Rollins peacocked in the middle of the ring with Triple Hand Stephanie McMahon. The champion cut yet another one of his 15-minute promos in which he declared his supremacy and superiority above all others. A black curtain in the ring covered a statue of Rollins, or so he thought. All the while, Sting waited for Rollins to finish talking while his face paint sweated off. When the curtain came up, Sting towered over his foes and stared down the champion. He assaulted Rollins, who ran away as fast as he could.
WWE has already announced that The Icon will open Monday Night Raw tonight, most likely to explain why he decided to make his move last week. Expect Sting to explain that he has been letting his loss to Triple H at WrestleMania 31 eat away at him for the last few months. And now that Rollins has both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and WWE United States Championship, someone needs to stop him.
WWE has also revealed that the women will compete in the first Divas Beat The Clock Challenge to decide the No. 1 Contender to Nikki Bella's Divas Championship. The three members of Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch) will participate in the challenge, and the woman with the fastest time will earn a title match, most likely at Night of Champions. By September 20, Nikki would have eclipsed AJ Lee's record title reign of 295 consecutive days.
Team PCB could face Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Tamina Snuka tonight, though Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, or even Nikki herself are possibilities.
John Cena needs another feud now that he has lost the United States Championship and failed to become a 16-time world champion and tie Ric Flair's record. But it's possible he could face Rollins again if WWE follows its own rules.
The rules for Night of Champions say that every title in WWE must be defended during the pay-per-view. Last week, Triple H decreed that Rollins would defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, but he made no mention of the United States Championship. Therefore, Rollins could work two matches that night and defend the U.S. title against Cena before he takes on Sting.
