Detroit rapper King Gordy was reportedly shot five times during an attempted robbery, Feb. 5.
Though the details regarding the shooting are insubstantial, it is believed according to various reports that the hardcore rapper survived the shooting. The alleged robbery took place in Detroit, Michigan.
Rapper Bizarre of D12, who is Gordy's childhood friend and duos with him in a group known as The Davidians posted this Tweet, "King gordy.. get well my nigga.. I'm praying for u... I'm on way back know to the d." Bizarre has released music videos for Gordy featuring him called - "Justin Bieber," "Psycho Bill."
Other members form D12 reacted to the news, "No. but prayers are up for my east side bro. RT @Kate2373: @KunivaD12 have you any updates on King Gordy's condition ? :("
Gordy's first album was released "The Entity," 2003. The album was executive produced by Eminem. He has dropped eight albums until now. Last year he released EP "Hail Dark Lord Vader."
Gordy acted in Eminem's movie, "8 Mile" playing the character of "Big O." He also made appearances in movies like "Beef 4" and "The Hitchcock of Hiphop." Gordy has made a lot of guest appearances with other Emcees.
