Rapper Rick Ross hyped the upcoming release of his eighth studio record Black Dollar with a hot new single entitled "Foreclosures." And if fans listen closely enough, it's obvious that Ross slyly shades Maybach Music Group protege Meek Mill for "losing" the rap battle against YMCMB rival, Drake. But is Mill willing to indulge in yet another epic hip-hop feud - this time with his boss?
Apparently not...
At around the 2:15-minute mark, 39-year-old Ross blasts:
And I never took an L, back when Meek fell.
Really, Ross is just making a true statement - Mill DID "fall" to Drizzy's hard-hitting diss track, "Back to Back." But still, pretty harsh exclamation coming from a close friend - perhaps even betrayal?
Surprisingly, the "I'm A Boss" emcee has yet to respond on Twitter or Instagram. Just a few days before Ross' viral song premiere, Mill went on this mini social media rant:
@MeekMill: "Once a creep... Always a creep!"
@MeekMill: "Ain't shit broke this way.... All my n*ggas got something!"
But does that have anything to do with Ross' rather shady lyrics?
Well, if anything, 28-year-old Mill will always have the support of "Buy a Heart" lover, Nicki Minaj:
So, do MstarsNews readers think Mill will just let things fizzle-out instead of causing a huge scene with Ross? As always, Twitter's now abuzz:
@birdscholar: "Rick Ross dropping that heat. He must've needed that arrest lol."
@mDecker22x: "Rick Ross dissed Meek Mill hahahahaha."
@rellyOnSMASH: ": "rick ross is dropping a new album thursday and theres 0 excitement traveling thru my body."
Maybe this was just a good way to promote the new album, which officially hits stores on Thursday (September 3)!
