Baseball's back for the official 2015 MLB season, and things are finally heating-up!
The San Francisco Giants take the field against rivals the Colorado Rockies in Week 22 of the regular season on Thursday, September 3 at 8:40 p.m. EST at Coors Field in Denver. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Game 1 evening ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
While San Fran snags a rather high spot in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 teams (power rankings), Colorado still lags way behind:
Giants (10): "The addition of Marlon Byrd has helped buoy the offense temporarily, but the Giants' lineup is still struggling with two main cogs on the disabled list. San Francisco hopes Joe Panik and Hunter Pence return to the field soon, as the team sits 3½ games behind the Dodgers in the NL West." Andrew Tweedy, West Coast Bias
San Francisco currently maintains a steady 69-64 winning record and still remains 2nd in the National League Western Division. The Los Angeles Dodgers managed a four-game sweep against the Giants earlier this week.
Rockies (28): "Impending free agents Kyle Kendrick and Justin Morneau are expected to return by the end of the season. They wouldn't block any stud September prospects, but it does hinder the Rockies from building value by seeing what their "free talent" minor leaguers could accomplish." Richard Bergstrom, Rockies Zingers
With that, Colorado holds a meager 54-78 winning record and is now 5th in the National League Western Division.
Tonight's ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channels MLBN, RTRM, and CSBy.
