'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans Claims Meth Face Mugshot Was Acne

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has just come back from the time of her life at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, but she is still dealing with the fallout from being arrested for assaulting baby daddy Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend. Now, the MTV star is defending herself against accusations that she has been on drugs for a long time.  The speculation that the reality star was back on drugs, for which she went to jail for in 2013, began after her mug shot was released for her current arrest. Scabs were seen all over her face that looked a lot like meth face and prompted fans to think she was doing meth again. She vehemently denies that claim, saying it was just acne.

"I know a lot of people have been saying I'm on drugs, but I am definitely not," Jenelle told RumorFix. "Because I have acne [in the photo], everyone's like 'she's on meth! She's on meth' - but, no! And come to find out it was 'my time of the month' right after I got out of jail so I was like 'that's what's going on!' But now [my acne] is all cleared up... but around 'that time' my face just goes crazy!"

Rumors of the MTV mom's relapse also came about because she was recently seen hanging out with ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp. Many Teen Mom 2 fans may remember that it was Kieffer who allegedly got her into hard drugs, which was captured in front of the reality show cameras. Sensing a firestorm brewing Jenelle quickly denied being back with her ex.

"Jenelle is NOT back together with Kieffer," a source told The Real Mr. Housewife. "Kieffer is in town for the weekend and saw Jenelle."

Furthermore, the mother of two blasted those that said she let him stay over at her house while he was visiting friends nearby.

"It should be noted that Kieffer is not even staying with Jenelle while in her town," according to reality gossip site. "Jenelle wants to focus on herself and on her children's future. Kieffer is a friend and nothing more. He has his own apartment, his own job, and his own life. Jenelle is looking forward to continuing to move on with hers in a positive direction."
