Rock band Oasis's former vocalist, Liam Gallagher, told some teenage fans that his upcoming album is "pretty druggy." Gallagher is now the frontman of his own band, Beady Eye.
The rockstar told two teenagers that "It's rock 'n' roll but it's fired out into space. If you're into drugs you'll like it. it's pretty druggy," when they asked him about the new album. The teenagers, Ryan Butterworth and Elliot Cole, uploaded the interview on YouTube.
The troubled rock artist told teenagers that his band will soon tour and is planning live shows too. "We'll be out in a few months. We're playing festivals, bar mitzvahs. We've got to make it right this time, last time was a bit fucking stupid." When they asked him if they will be playing Reading Festival, "We're not doing that fucking thing!" said Gallagher.
One of the teenagers, Butterworth, said Gallagher was "genuinely the nicest man I have ever met".
"He was happy to be filmed - he didn't mention it - and he was happy to look at the camera. He was really down to earth and I stayed with him for about two hours drinking with him. [I was] asking lots of questions he said he was in the area as he just finished mixing the new album around the corner," he added.
The upcoming album from Beady Eye will be released 2013.
