Lil' Wayne announced on Twitter last night that he was kicked out of the Miami Heat game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Rapper is frequently seen at Miami games and was there to support the Lakers last night, which possibly got him ejected from the AmericanAirlines Arena. When the Heat's star play Lebron James was asked about the incident, he told reporters that the rapper was not ejected at all and left on his own. Here is the "tweet in question:"
So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat

This statement had a huge reaction on Twitter, considering the rapper has over 10 million followers. Luckily the statement from James and others part of the Miami organization have helped cool down the controversy. Heat spokeswoman Lorrie-Ann Diaz released a statement saying Lil Wayne was not kicked out or ejected but instead chose to leave on his own accord.
So what exactly happened? Surely Lil' Wayne would not waste the time of his Twitter followers to just make something up like this. This situation is a little reminiscent of the Western Conference Finals. During this other NBA interaction, the rapper was not allowed into the Oklahoma City Chesapeake Energy Arena for the game. He again complained about it on the Internet only to have a report come out saying that the rapper did not have a ticket for the game. Clearly you need a ticket to get into the game, Lil' Wayne. But I guess we all make mistakes and maybe your celebrity status should allow you to some perks like getting into an important sporting event without the right credentials.
Luckily, another Twitter user, Danny Vega, was sitting near Lil' Wayne and took to the social network to shed some light on last night's Heat game stating:
"Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game, Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun. Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture."
Whoa. Okay, well that seems like a very reasonable explanation for getting ejected from an arena full of people. Taking everything into account, it seems like Lil' Wayne was definitely asked to leave and then left on his own. He probably did not really make a "gun gesture" and that is why he took to Twitter in anger and confusion. I guess throwing someone out (no matter how many albums they have sold) due to possible threat of a gun is a safe bet. Honestly though, that dude should not have yelled at Lil' Wayne. That is my official stance. What do you think?
