Whoopi Goldberg 'The View' Season 19 Firing Rumors - ABC Allegedly Not Happy With Star?

While ABC's The View might have cleaned house between season 18 and season 19, there is still one cast member that is connecting the show to its rollercoaster ride of a last year. Whoopi Goldberg is the only member from last year that got a call back from the new episodes, however there are rumors claiming that the production team might be looking to get rid of the star. She might be following in the footsteps of her pals Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace. Now that there is new blood on the panel including Michelle Collins, Candace Cameron Bure and Raven Symone, the show might be seeing the veteran star getting fired.

According to Radar Online, the team behind the ABC talk show isn't happy with the way that Whoopi stepped up to the plate when O'Donnell left and are now gunning to get the comedienne to leave the series.

"The claws are out for Whoopi," an insider explained to the site. "She's now starting to get the blame. Everyone is beginning to realize they should have let Rosie have control."

According to E! News, Whoopi even made a joke this morning on the first episode of the new season about how the producers got rid of members of the cast. Goldberg noticed that the coffee cups on the table didn't have pictures of the co-hosts faces on the side of them.

"They're cups, but where are the pictures of the faces," the comedienne explained in the clip above, according to PEOPLE. "We used to have faces because people stuck around."

"They want Whoopi to leave, but she won't," an insider explained to Radar. "Whoopi is too smart and greedy to leave on her own."
