Will Ferrell helped keep order as an usher at the Staples Center Suns versus the Lakers game and even had to eject one spectator who happened to be Shaquille O'Neal. Sporting a thick mustache and the regulated usher's uniform, the comedian escorted the NBA great out of his seat during the third quarter. Though all of this is funny enough, it turns out Ferrell had a name for his character: Ted Vagina. Greg Esposito, Digital Manager for the Phoenix, Arizona, Suns, posted a clear view of the actor's nametag on his Twitter account:

Just like every other headline-grabbing tactic that Ferrell has concocted throughout his career, everyone is just plain confused by the comedic incident. Also, what is up with that name? Sure it is hilarious and it draws your attention, but mainly it is just weird. The only thing I can explain is his bushy mustache, which he grew for his reprisal of Ron Burgandy in the Anchorman sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, coming later this year. The 45-year-old actor's role as a Staples Center usher culminated in his heroic ejection of former Laker Shaquille O'Neal. Details as to why the Shazam star was asked to leave the arena have yet to be released but many sources believe it was the disappointing game he was watching (Los Angeles won 91 - 85). Maybe Shaq was practicing his notorious martial art, "Shaq-fu," and it got out of hand. I would put my money one that. In that case, thank heavens for Ted Vagina.

Back in October, Ferrell participated in another comedic stunt at a University of Southern California Trojans practice. After the final drill of the football practice, offensive line coach Pat Ruel started yelling at a man on top of a camera lift used for filming the practices. This man then fell from the lift and landed out of view on a stunt cushion. It seemed like the man fell onto the street outside of the stadium. Moments later, Ferrell emerged as "Captain Compete" dressed in a mask, half an Ironman costume and a tight, Speedo-style swimsuit. He entered the stadium carrying the "victim," apparently saving the man. As "Captain Compete" met with players, another man came running out from the end zone, completely engulfed in flames. Ferrell saved this man as well; this time dousing him with water, but after the flames had already been put out.
